TimeScroller is a multi time zone clock and meeting planner, and allows you to very quickly find a suitable time for an overseas phone call or conference.
Initially, the current times for your chosen cities are shown, with color coded icons quickly showing if now is a good time to call. If not, a drag on the "TimeScroller" button will rapidly advance the times to find a more suitable time later in the day.
Alternatively, select the cities you wish to communicate between, then tap the "Suggest Time" button for TimeScroller to automatically suggest a time. The display will also update showing just those cities, making the choice of a time even easier.
Then once youve chosen a time, a tap on a button create a reminder, a calendar event, or automatically draft an email for you including the times for the proposed call.

Pros and cons of TimeScroller - timezone helper app for iPhone and iPad
TimeScroller - timezone helper app good for
This tool is taking away the hazzle of finding a real working timeslot
Does what it is supposed to do and even looks great. Nice and easy interface with color indicators to pick the best time. I also like the email function.
What a terrific program. Ive tried a couple others and was fortunate to find this one. The best so far. Look forward to seeing how this great intuitive little program develops.
Very useful for frequent intl callers and communicators. It would be even better to have real earth-like fancy view as an optional view for astro fans.
Noting some of the negative comments I think many are missing the key features. The ability to scroll through time zones to pick the right time for conference calls across all cities is the key. Difficult to see when you cant download a demo so my suggestion if you have a Mac is to try the free widget which has the same features. Finding the best time for a conference call across many time zones has never been easier and this cannot be done with the built in clock application.
..besides the phone and iPod feature. Besides being really easy to use and super-functional, the practical aspects must be misunderstood by the guy that said just use a clock... I am frequently organizing conference calls on 4 continents, in 6 time zones, some that are on the 1/2 hour, and this is an invaluable tool for that. More simply, when I get ready to call somebody in Adelaide, AUS, when I am in Copenhagen, DK, it just great to double check the hour there!
Some bad moments
One major omission for me, does not show country. I dont recall where some cities are, I deal with too many countries/territories to remember all. Also, blue background with white time font is washed out and difficult to see. And Pago Pago in American Samoa isnt in there so not all places I need either.
I just screwed up two meetings by relying on this app. I have screen shots with los angeles and Tokyo are 12 hours different, unfortunately they are really 16 hours different. My meetings had different errors - cant trust it.
